Give it a try fixing yourself, it is not hard. You can use the other claws as a guide to creating the new ones. Heck, if you don't want to bother adding a wire or metal piece in the middle to give it strength you could form the putty to the shape you need, let it dry, sand, paint and glue. For me, I would just add a pin to the end of the claw that pops into the hand and then get a 1/16 drill bit and carefully drill into the hand where the claws go in to give the bonding strength. This is not necessary, you can just use epoxy glue which is strong enough.

I can repair it for you for under $100. I've got over 20 years professional experience with model work and painting (see my avatar). I'm in Ohio, but as you mentioned, shipping by ground should not be too expensive. If interested, PM me.
