I still get Clint’s weekly comics email. Even though I now live in Denver, I can’t bear to cancel the email. I smile every time it arrives.

Man... You are so lucky. I wish a could meet and chat with all the comic book creators that i like.

A friend of mine has connetions with DC Comics actually He brought Jock to Turkiye, but i didn't have the time so i missed the opportunty to meet with Jock. :/ Same friend of mine also thought about bringing Frank Miller to Turkiye, but he is too old for such a long trip from America to Turkiye. :/

I meet and chat with Yildiray Cinar and Mahmut A. Asrar when i was a university student in Ankara though. (: They were just breaking into American Comics back then.
I do feel lucky. I?ve met and chatted with Stan Lee, Gene Colan, Marv Wolfman, Roy Thomas, Steve Englehart, Sal Buscema, John Romita Sr & Jr, Walt Simonson, Jim Starlin, Alex Maleev and others as well as Chaykin. Wish I could have met Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko and John Buscema.

Also met some great sculptors like The Shifflett Bros, Walter O?Neil, Joe Menna, Keith Kopinski, etc.

Agree.

The article captures his personality nicely. He really was a larger than life character with tons of knowledge and stories. Back to the origin of your thread, it?s no wonder he and Howard Chaykin gravitated so much toward each other.
