Probably a factory issue, such as not enough workers to make the deadline so thus the delay.. plus XM is pretty picky about their QC with the factories..

I have a Dark Phoenix pre-ordered with Spec Fiction. I'm presently buying a house so am regretting my pre-order as the costs pile in. (Amazing piece, but it's really bad timing for me to be statue collecting).

I'll probably sell mine at Cost when I get it. I thought about cancelling my pre-order, but I'd lose $500 even if someone else is available to buy it instead. I put down $1393 down for the statue and taxes, though shipping still needs to be paid if she is ever released.

Even with a ES of 999, I doubt it will be to hard to sell her for what you paid. With her being sold out you might find someone who would be willing to reimburse you and take over the order..

So if the production start at the end of February, it will not be shipped even in Q2 I think. Even Q3 sounds not reasonable for me. I think there will be more delay.

Disappointed by this piece of news but if there's one piece that NEEDS to come out flawless, it's definitely DP!
