It's not really noticeable at all in-hand. Maybe if I hung a picture of Jason Momoa next to it, it would be apparent. But the statue looks phenomenal.

I really hope it's not just a one-off in quality from SS as far as movie pieces go.

I know in Nearmint's video it was lighter than the original photos from Sideshow, but even so it's still too dark imo. His complexion is really tanned true, but as dark as it may sometimes appear, there's still a lot of pinkish hews to it.

It's almost like they're showing him with a completely different ancestry (though I believe his is quite varied). But it only seems to bother me. No one really commented on it either when it first went up for preorder, and it was even a darker shade than it is now. Though most seem fine with it in either case.

And yes the statue definitely looks phenomenal. There's no denying that.

And I guess it’s not like those statues who have paler skin always match their respective actors either, but I guess it’s just easier to notice the darker the shade is.

This image appeared on Facebook today (on Prime 1 Facebook)
I figured it must be a poorly lit photo, as the skin tone looks off.
If it is correct, i think i prefer the darker skin tone of the Sideshow 1/4 PF

The collector who posted the image stated that the piece looks great in person.

You can literally see the harsh lighting illumating is face. Good or bad, no person should reasonably gauge a statue off a picture like that :|

Not sure if they have but once again P1 needs to take ahold of the narrative and release detailed PRODUCTION PIECE photos. Why they don't do like SS with an unboxing of the production piece or at least photos is beyond me.
