I really liked Pike played by Anson Mount. I thought he was one of the best things about Discovery and he was amazing in Hell on Wheels. I look forward to it.

I agree it's been a bit of mix bag with these series... Other than the weird decision to make Klingons not look like Klingons the first season of Discovery was pretty good, now the second season was 50/50, I thought Pike and Spock were stand outs but what they did with Burnham was annoying as hell, lots of crying and touchy-feely relationship crap made her story feel like a soap opera, it was so cheesy...

I was really hyped for Picard but overall I thought the story was bad with poorly written dialogue, most of the new cast just sucked... The only good parts were the reunions scenes with the old crew...

From what I read both Discovery and Picard are getting a lot of people to subscribe to CBS Streaming, so I'm sure will see more Star Trek series in the future... Hopefully will get something fresh that moves away from the Kirk & Spock/TNG era

Unhappy

Another prequel and with Kurtzman involved. I have zero expectations.
