I think they will wait till the figures ship in April/May then have the preorder up for this. This will be a must buy and IMHO blows away the 89 car

yeah i always loved the 66 Batmobile over any other in film history.
it actually looks like a bat.
and that red and black paint job kicks ass.
my only problem i have about HT doing this car is that it will be all plastic. too bad it wasn't die cast metal.
same reason why i didn't get the 89 Batmobile.
for that price it should be die-cast metal. at least the outer shell, fenders doors hood trunk. rims.
wonder if the hood will open and there will be a motor int here.
dose the 89 BM have that?

Diecast metal would be pretty cool, but maybe too heavy for a 1/6 vehicle of this size. Plastic is OK as long as it is solid, good quality built with a top notch paint job.

Hey doesnt look like there is much news on this so far. But I thought I would ask since I have a friend who is looking at trying to get it but I had not even heard of it. I know the Batman and Robin figures are offered by sideshow already for preorder. So is Sideshow the best site to look for the 1/6th batmobile when it comes for Preorder?
Also any ideas on size yet?

Hey as I said my friend is looking into this but he doesn't have much internet access. I see no one knows when this will come out on pre order but does Hot Toys have a main site or just through other stores like Sideshow? And since the figures and car are 1/6th scale i assume the figures can sit inside the car as well?

Try googling hot toys and you will find their main site.

Has I been confirmed that this will be plastic? I was really looking forward to getting this one but I'll have to pass if it is plastic. It rather get a metal one...
