damn, that sentence doesnt even sound right. ironic.

They are well aware that his helmet is usually silver in the comics. But they are trying to make a great statue, not just copy a comic panel. They found that when the helmet was silver, the overall statue was too much silver and grey and looked too bland. So they made an artistic decision to change it to green. I was convinced it should have been silver until I saw it in person. The green helmet looked fantastic and really brought out the colours of the piece.

IMO it's cool military type look. The whole Weapon X program was like underground military black ops deal anyways. It works
