The Winston bronzes are very nice and have a great patina.

We would be using Toynami and they have two styles, a gold and a coper finish. Personally I like the finish on the Marcus far better than the reaper.

If we go this route we probably wouldn't be able to achieve the patina on the Raptor.

I will create several paint styles and see what works best for the sculpt.

Paul

Having seen this piece in person. Copper only, please. The gold will ruin the look of the pieces and the details will not show well.

I agree that the paint on the Marcus piece is better

Awesome building process pictures you shared here Paul.
Please make a build album for every pieces CC released on FB.
I love these 'behind the scene' stuff.
The idea of a faux bronze and real bronze BO T-rex sounds sweet( specially with the copper finish).
But I will pass, the regular is more than enough for me.
The T-rex from the final JP scene on the other hand would definetly blast my SS JP DIO out of the shelf

Awesome to hear you guys are making the end scene from JP with Rex roaring and banner. Any details you can share yet?

I'd consider a bronze breakout but hope it turns out better than the normal breakout production piece.

I have little interest in Bronze statues, but they certainly don't hurt along side a painted run of the same piece. That Raptor that THX posted is really nice...

Great news! Hopefully scale is somewhere between the Breakout Rex (a bit too small for such a screen icon imho) and the 1:5 maquette (too large to properly display).
Would be ideal if it were in scale with the upcoming raptor and dilophosaurus maquettes (1:9 if I remember correctly).

And would it be too much to ask for this diorama to include the raptors as well?

I like the bronze coper finish, how it is on the Marcus statue.
