Just to throw it out there, wasn't it Darth Nihilus who somehow bonded his spirit to his armor and effectively made himself immortal? You would think Vader would be more than capable of doing the same thing if he set his mind to it.
If having most of your body replaced by artificial parts and being encased in life support armour could make you immortal, you could bet that Lucas would have introduced us to one character who done that already.

No he didn't lose the lower half of his body. Obi Wan cut his legs and the one remaining human arm off. Vader now has 2 mechanical legs & 2 mechanical arms. With that said, I think that he would find it rather painful to wack the Willy with a mech hand if he got too excited. Of course with his mind control power Vader get one of Jabba the Hut slave girls to service him. And yes Darth Vader can age.

the answer to this is yes. he ages throughout the whole saga.
and if Yoda (a jedi) can die of old age. i dont see what a sithlord cant.

That was just old actor they used for the part. Vader shouldn't be that old but he didn't age well and looks like crap for his age. I guess too much hard living and being the emporer's errand boy takes it's toll.
