I'm thinking I might just get some industrial-grade shelving from Home Depot or Lowes. I saw a Transformers collector who did that, and the industrial aesthetic works particularly well for Transformers, but I'm not yet in my forever home so I don't want to make the plunge for custom shelving yet.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I finally saw this piece in person at a store in Paris and now I understand. It's super impressive!! The textures are awesome and it has huge presence but it's also a real monster of a statue.
I now know for sure there's no way I can display him anywhere.

If you go to a mill, they can cut finish ply and boards to your specs for $1 a cut.
Might have to do some minor cutting for face frames..
All you have to then is slap it together and finish with paint or oil and varnish.
Buy a pocket hole jig. Learn how to use it.
I feel, if you’re going to be in this kind of a hobby (collecting) you should allso get another hobby to go along with it, carpentry. Buy some basic tools. Especially if you own a home.
Everyone should learn how to build. Doesn’t have to be perfect at first. You’ll get better. Look at things, see how they’re built. Instagram has a bunch people showing their builds. Watch some YouTube videos. Seriously.

Hey guys, newbie here. I've actually been so excited about this line I've read through this thread from page 1. Yes, quite the hellish experience I know. I am planning on collecting the entire line as I have them all on pre-order and my guts finally shipping tomorrow. I can probably find a nice enough space for guys, but I genuinely have no idea where the hell im going to put them once the rest of the line starts coming out. Regardless, I'll let you all know how my guts is when it gets here, and as the rest of you said, it's a hell of a time to be a berserk fan.

Grunbeld? No ----ing way. That's sick. It's probably gonna be 1/5? Maybe? If it was 1/4 it would just be a monster. Which I suppose I'm fine with.
