Arrow Fargo on FX

It's been some time since I last watches the movie but I do recall enjoying it. Seems strange to adapt it for tv though.

I believe they're not doing a straight adaptation, but doing a story similar in nature. If it's successful, subsequent seasons will have different story lines, with different casts.

Strange. Doesn't sound like something I'd watch despite being a fan of the film and Thornton.

Liked Fargo. Don't care for Thorton.

Not a big fan of his either but I did enjoy his performance in The Astronaut Farmer.

I still maintain his best performance was in One False Move. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend you do. Excellent crime thriller with Bill Paxton. Thornton is really scary in it.

I quite enjoyed the first episode. BBT is excellent as the manipulator.

Despite my initial apprehension surrounding this series I really enjoyed it. That being said when the season came to a close I wasn't expecting the narrative to reach such a complete conclusion, but it did.

So I was a bit surprised when FX announced today that Fargo has been renewed for a second season. "The Emmy-nominated series will return for another installment that will be set in a-different time period and feature an all-new cast of characters."

The cable network has ordered another 10 episodes for Season 2 of Fargo, though a return date has not been specified at this time.
