The Amazing Spider-Man 3
Marc Webb confirmed that he will direct The Amazing Spider-Man 3.
Sony plans to release a Spider-man film every year.

Every Year? I just do not see that as a good thing. I am a HUGE Spidey Fan, but I do not want a watered down movie just so they can have one every year.

I'm assuming Spidey every two years and spin offs in alternating years. I cannot see his villains solos being huge money makers so it will be interesting to see how they plan on making them attractive to non-Spidey fans.

The Amazing Spider-Man 3 will be released on June 10th, 2016 and The Amazing Spider-Man 4 on May 4th, 2018. Garfield's contract is for three movies, so he might or not be back for the fourth film.
SPE co-chairman Amy Pascal said “We are expanding the ‘Spider-Man’ universe into ‘The Sinister Six’ and ‘Venom,’ so that we have ‘Spider-Man’ movies every year”.

I still don't see how solo-villain movies w/o Spiderman are gonna work. If people are wondering how a Guardians of the Galaxy movie is going to fly on account of limited audience recognition, how is a Venom or Carnage movie going to make it & who would the villain go up against that would make a person want to see it? I think this is a bad gamble.
