Someone in the world of comic art collecting told me some time ago that these pages were in one person's collection; I have no idea who that would have been though. I wonder if Superman #1 is still around.

I think 10 million is low. If the cover is included I think 20 million would have been closer. There are plenty of super rich people out there that would have snagged it.

Now imagine a Action Comics #1 or Detective Comics #27 original artwork. That would be unimagineable.

The lady doesn't particularly look like your average art collector, does she... lol

That being said, one might imagine that these librarians handle rare material fairly regularly. I'm fairly confident that these pages will be well taken care of.
