XM Quality

I'm looking at mine now, too.
Is there a preventative measure. Something I could do except dissassemble and put it back in the box?

Well, since the beginning I think that pillar is here for that reason. On mine, there is still two millimeters between the leg and the pillar, and I have no doubt the "meeting" will happen one day. I don't worry about any breakage though.

So much for XM's Rock Solid Reputation.... The last 6 month's we've seen some sloppy paint, googly eyes, questionable design choices with seams, shipping breakage and now a leaning issue...

Hopefully the lean issue is a one off and doesn't affect anyone else's Batgirl but XM needs to slow down a bit and repair their reputation before they become know as the Singapore Sideshow.

So, this is really happening, here's some pics of the batgirl Bending, its bad to the point I think the statute will fall over time. I don't think that wooded beam would do any help as is an attached piece via magnet so the connection is fairly weak.

Wrote XM asking for a replacement so I guess it will take some time.

How come these things happen? Do they save a couple of bucks using cheaper materials? or its something that definitly has to happen over time for this dynamic poses?

Damn that's a bad lean. I measured 12 3/8 inches up to her right knee a couple months ago, and just now I see 12''... Wondering if it's the metal rod bending or the base giving way. This is my first 1/4 scale and don't know what I can do if a year from now it gets bad enough or snaps. Will XM send replacements or am I SOL?

Their response to the Darth Maul breakages was pretty crappy... I was suppose to get $150 back from Playstore (where I ordered it) to fix it but never saw the money.

If XM doesn't handle this properly their reputation is going to take a big hit.

When my Batgirl originally came, it came with a broken head and a broken cape, wrote them directly and they send a replacement considerably fast.

But I do get built2shred response, changing a whole statute will be a really expensive move especially if they are all sold out.
