That's usually the way it works. The kids always seem to be better at these games than the adults. Except for the adults who play 24/7 that is. I don't wanna be one of those guys (shudder). I suck at pretty much every game out there..except FPS that is. Even then..I'm only ok. Kids could still probably kick my a$$. This game's irritating and addictive at the same time. I'm only playing on easy..pretty sad LOL

I was going to pass, but remembered I had a gift card to use. So I got it for $23.

The wired guitar does suck. Obviously the wireless will be released at a later date to encourage the liberation of our money.

Game is fun. I agree with others that this seems like something I will keep on easy or medium. Otherwise I'll just suck at it.

From what I've read, Red Octane said there was some kind of licensing issue with Microsoft's proprietary wireless technology. Hopefully at some point they'll release a wireless controller, but at least the Xbox 360 version has the break-away cable.

So far I love the Xbox 360 version, I even like the feel of the guitar compared to the PS2 incarnation. I also think the added horsepower of the Xbox makes it easier to see the notes as they're coming down the fretboard; in the PS2 version they seem more like blurs. I progressed about halfway through the game on Medium today, but haven't reached the main song I'm looking for, "The Trooper" by Iron Maiden.

??? Do you mean Sony perhaps? Cause I find it hard to believe MSoft wouold license RO with the ability to make the game, but not the controller. Of course stranger things have happened

Actually he is correct. As hard as it is to believe, Microsoft guards their wireless technology like it's the Holy Grail. They are in discussions but who know where that will go. It will not be anytime soon that there is wireless guitar for the 360.
