If I can ever get a second one cheap enough, I'd like to tear it off the base and create an extension of the tree trunk, so that the entire piece could top out around 25" and give the sensation that the figure really was high up in the trees.

It's a nice piece as it is, but it was designed to hit a specific size and price point that would make it more marketable and easily displayable for more people.
With some relatively simple customization I think this could be a real knockout for it's scale.

i tested the snow leopard fur tone as well but doesn't get a usable feel to that color variant so i didn't go on with recoloring that version...but just my opinion on that

Oh dear that's some hideous makeup.

She still needs her tan. Were actual pics shown of the regular version or just the renders?

Hoping for better pics if reg too. If it looks like the variant, i'm cancelling it.

Not sure if they improved in the wrong direction. The eyes look way sleepy now, since the iris is just showing half. The colors seem to be strange too. The skin tone is too pink / rosy for a tanned junglegirl and the hair looks yellow than blond. Even her lips should have a less vibrant color. Shes in the jungle not on a catwalk. But the answer i got was that it looks like that because of bad photos. So i hope the colors will match the rendering on the final piece because there is no chance to cancel on kickstarter

Would love to see a painted reg version of her soon.

Not sure it matches what was promised, doesn't have the Campbell look to me, feels bit more generic.
