The red on the outfit appears to look too shiny, and the shade appears to be off - dark (the camera used could be to blame)

I guess so. The thing is, this time, the images don't appear to suffer from someone holding a phone camera super close to the subject matter.
For the moment, there's a bit of hope. I've got a bad feeling already about this piece.

Hey guys, I am the dude who took the pictures.
I didn't take these pictures for comparing it with Sideshow's pictures, and cannot be used for comparison ( not same angle, not same light, not same lens etc...)
If you want I could take more if you really want comparison
Overall, this statue is fantastic, yes the paint is not as good as the Daredevil, but it is definitely more complex paint than the DD
Blades are in metal which is awesome...
Feel free to ask me all the questions you want!

Sorry superduck, I wasn't trying to be derogatory about your pictures, there is some concern over the paint app, if you could take a couple more of her face it would be great.
