Just counting down for DC to screw Bruce over... Which DC exec/writer was it that recentrly said that 'A happy Batman makes no sense...'?

Was I right? A smirking head?

I’m not 100% sure but this looks like a different head to the one we have seen at comicon, he looks to be smirking and there is more stubble?

Thanks for posting the actual picture, have no idea how to do it when it’s on Instagram.

yeah they did that on the miller batman as well, the portraits is really the only thing holding this one back for me i think. i preferred the original wip tease but i think these are what they are going with. dont get me wrong, theyre not bad by any means and totally have a jim lee vibe but theyre not exactly what i see in my head when i picture "jim lee batman"

worse case scenario i will make my own (because i like doing stuff like that) or tony mei will produce a custom i like. i really just want one looking down more facing foward

Hope they do cover the nose as that looks completely odd. Otherwise I’m legitimately excited for this set and already chomping the bit to order!

they're likely doing 3 heads, and I'm going to guess one will be facing more down. Should see the full reveal soon since this is probably going up for PO.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

It looks worse when blown up that big in a pic. Granted, it's not ideal. I didn't even know they did the same thing with the Miller Batman until I just read it in this thread and got up close to mine to verify.

I love it. Understand not wanting his nose to show but it adds to the realism. Especially in 1:3 scale- the room for error/discretion is very small. Beautiful swap out. I'm torn by which one I would use and I am sure P1 has still at least one more portrait coming.
