Will be tough to get those in 1/20 scale.

There's the obvious model kit selection at 1/20 scale but there's alot inaccurate about it and cost is going up, no doubt due to this, imho... I think I'm going to go with the 1/24 maisto die cast explorers and create the parts I need via 3D printing and hand made. They are easier to buy so I think I'll be willing to bite my tongue over the scale difference.

I'd happily pay a few hundred dollars for them professionally done via CC but I think them doing add ons for this rex is a pipe dream at best. They'd probably need to create a larger replacement base to accommodate explorers and all that jazz because not everyone can create a dio from scratch. It may as well be a 0% chance.

Who'd ever think the JP ford explorers would be such an underdone production piece for die cast and model kit companies over the years...I'm shocked hotwheels or hotwheels elite never produced it or the jeep after all this time, not that it would help me in the 1/20-1/24 scale.

In my opinion if rather have 1/24 explorers vs 1/20 as they would make the Rex appear larger. But that's just me. When it comes to scale I always rather have an item slightly larger than smaller.

It was very exciting to see the teaser image on my Facebook feed! Really anticipating pre-orders to open. I sure hope I can afford it!
