Hi, new member here. See that this question is still unanswered, so....
The Rei is indeed based on a design of Shunya Ya-ma-shi-ta (have to write it this way because of the robot editing everything with s-h-i-t in it
) initially made by Yamato in PVC, but is of much better quality. The Asuka is an original design of
E2046 in their "Ori" line. You can see the "making-of" of Asuka here:

They can be ordered separately or together, pre-painted or unpainted. But you have to be patient as they are produced in small batches and are often out-of-stock. Sometimes you have to wait many months or even years for the next batch.
