I finally caved and ordered. Like many others I'm not a fan of the fabric cape but I love the deformed sentinel base. He will look good with the other X-Men on the way.

Man, this piece with sculpted cape(light, vinyl maybe) a simpler base and knock off 200 bucks and it would've been a winner.

It seems they aren't sculpting capes anymore. Not even on dioramas.

I love fabric capes. I have one on the way for my superman pf and I can’t wait to get it on him. I have fun messing with wired fabric and getting it to look just so. I can see why some people wouldn’t though.
Sculpted capes do absolutely nothing for me. They’re big and bulky and just add a ton of weight and breakage potential that I’d rather not deal with.

Appears to have been a bit more modification to magneto's base as the spike now appear to point upward more.
