These pics look better. The mane and the color of the suit are on point. I leaned towards this over SS because of the portrait and based on these initial pics, I am please with how it turned out.

I agree. Plus they're always underpainted too. You can see it in the above close up of the portrait - part of the lip isn't painted like the rest, but is painted in skin tone instead. Drives me crazy especially when they do it on female statues.
yes as expected i think ill end up repainting the face, the lips as you guys have mentioned leave a little to be desired. aside from that hes absolutely fantastic - awesome pose, great suit details / paint, BIG, just an awesome statue. big thanks to parm for making this happen
