Did anybody pick any of these up yet? I got the Batman yesterday for $16.00 and its pretty cool.

how do these work? you buy individual pieces until you have a set?

Yep...that's how it works. I picked up Batman this week too. Looks good. They will definitely make an impressive set.

I picked up Batman this week, and plan on getting the whole set. However, how do we get the chess board if we can't subscribe here un the U.S.? This set will be awesome!! Won't play on it though. Just for show.

I think they plan to sell it in the states. I do wish they would offer the subscription service though. It would make it a whole lot easier to complete the set.

Posting some pics to help support this line. I just hope we get a complete chess set. So far I have the first 3. I love the metallic paints. Joker's eyes have a really cool emerald green in them, but didn't capture it in pics.

It is just nice to have something light and fun to collect in this hobby without having to take it so seriously like with the sideshow stuff etc.

and if you look closer, they even have really cool details, like Joker's cards:

hard to capture details with my camera on such a small piece, but they also have the writing "joker" in very fine font in the corners

and I love the charsmatic poses, will make a classy chess set

Just got catwoman and penguin.

Catwoman is awesome, nice paints.. great details.. clean paints on the face - eyes, lips, etc.

Penguin is "OK"
(I think a bit of his glasses are missing on this 1?)
