I own both of these movies & enjoyed the 1st one but have yet to watch part 2. Something no one has mentioned is that they are both very long, almost 2 & a half hours.

Just read an article that says they are making a US based version of Death Note.

I was REALLY leaning towards getting that one as I'm more inclined to get museum poses but because of the lack of wings I havent gotten it yet.

yeah, and for the price they charge they could've easily added them as accesories to be taken on and off

What a creepy looking character.
I've never heard of this...

Is this supposed to be genuine horror or more along the line for teens?

neither, the "creepy looking character" is little more then an observer. it's obviously got a ton of mystical elements in it, but i'd say it's more of a crime story then a horror one....but with monsters and a notebook that kills people
