Marc Wolfe problems
I commissioned him in aug 2013 at fan expo canada for a sketch of judge dredd in my sketch book. I was in contact with him once since they and was told it would be completed and sent out by mail which i gave him money for as well. If anyone knows how to contact him i would really appreciate my sketch book back which has a lot of sentimental value and of course a lot of sketches other artist drew for me

never heard of the guy either. but apparently there is something in the water that artists have been drinking lately given the # of "problem with.." threads.
here's what he looks like:

Yikes! Really sorry to hear this. Not trying to add insult to injury, but I make it a practice to never give out my small sketchbook for an artist to take home. I usually try to get it done right then and there, but will leave it and pick it up a couple hours later for a few artists that I trust and have dealt with many times over the years. I buy the larger size tear-out-page sketchbooks to avoid this problem.

Sorry your first post had to be about a negative experience. I would NEVER send my sketchbook to someone I didn't know, I'm ok with leaving it at a con, but, that's it.
Blow up their email. You send a message everyday via email/twitter/FB/whatever, you'll get a response. Good luck.

as Carlito1978 said to me when I first posted about a problem like this:
don't give up. great group of people here who've dealt with stuff like this before, and are more than willing to help out. does he have a twitter or facebook? I couldn't find him, but only searched briefly...

I think I saw he was being repped by Bob over at Comic Art House - correct me if I'm wrong pls. I would try giving Bob a shout and seeing if he can force some progress/updates.

Bob is a great guy. Never met him, but when i was worried about an issue with one of the guys he reps, he was on it immediately even though he had nothing to do with the situation.
you have a silver lining if its one of Bob's guys.

I second that about Bob, but I took a look at his website - Comic Art House - and I don't see Marc on the list of repped artists....
