- Pre-Order for Kal-El (Dark Knights of Steel) 1/4 Statue will be open on 5th December 2023 -

The Dark Knights of Steel Series was probably one of the best stories I read from DC in a very long time. It was 12 issues and I thought it was some epic story telling. Some crazy twists with the plot and characters. All well done.

I personally like Superman's Armor look the most. Although he never had that in the story (It does look like it was based from the variant cover on Issue #3), he looks great as a Holy Knight/Paladin Type.

The story was so good I thought about consider buying it, but that asking price made it an easy decision to pass.

As a big fan of the fantasy genre in general, I think this and Batman are pretty freaking cool. I’m just not willing to spend what XM will be asking for. Too bad.

XM will be giving a unique twist to this series by providing collectors with the option to collect the original comic look and an altered high fantasy look developed by the XM creative team. Building on top of the existing design in the comics, this look features Kal-El in heavy medieval armour, complete with XM?s unique take on styling in tandem with the actual comic storyline. The XM Studios altered take on Kal-El?s armour also features a full-faced helmet, while holding on to a banner featuring the House of El family crest and sun-inspired motifs running along the leg, arm and chest plates."
