I can remember that in the Sideshow Q&A section a new Doom was announced in mixed media, but not confirmed that he comes in the same scale.
But I would not buy him anyway, need the money for the original World Warriors

I seem to remember that it would be a PF, so not necessarily mixed media but 1/4th scale

It's Legendary Scale for sure. I saw it at Comic Con. Plus they have been teasing it.
People will buy it but IMO it's nothing compared to the PF.
I'm saying this as someone who does not own Doom, and probably never will.
I'm also not a Doom fan but as a statue I think it's a fantastic piece of art.
For me what makes the grail piece so special (apart from the obvious stuff like the detail, sculpt, paint, mixed media, etc.) is the the pose, the throne and the chalice. It's like he's caught in moment of contemplation - possibly even a moment of boredom or defeat - especially if you place the chalice in his field of vision.

Legendary scale is roughly 1:2 scale isn't it? I don't know about you guys, but I find that to be a really awkward size.I feel everything between 70-110 cm is honestly too small to have on the ground, and too big to have on shelves/display cabinets. I absolutely LOVE the Dr. Doom legendary scale figure, but I can't buy it if it's gonna be that big. Was totally hoping it would be 1:4 scale. Too bad ;_;

Nice. I just got a bison ex and I kinda want a cammy ex now. I was never a fan of her but I'd rather have a shadaloo cammy to go with bison then a guile. Congrats again!
