The car is in the shop... They called me and said the total damages are $1000....  but at least I am not shelling out a dime...

Damage costs to the whip is freakin' ridunkilous but at least you don't have to worry about coming out of pocket to pay for it with your insurance covering it. I say your lucky bro.
