Yep.
Supply and demand, market forces always apply.
Statues that cost 300 dollars sell. And do not have blinky lights and motors in them either. And they probably did not cost much to make in Hong Kong thats for sure. Licensing is another biggie cost of course.

Hmmm... I've been waiting for this and the Millennium Falcon...
So far, looks good, but I'm not that crazy about the simplistic low-tech 60s style. It looks a bit on the fancy plastic toy side. I realize that's the way the ship looked like at the time... It might not be enough to get me to buy it.
