Change for VaultMan!
So after four years of working with a charter school organization called Achievement First and being a founding principal for my school Achievement First Endeavor, I’m leaving my school. It’s kind of bittersweet…I hate to leave my students and families, but opportunity knocks, and the time has come for me to move on to other things.
I’ll be spending the summer doing some great professional development with another charter school organization (KIPP) at NYU and then I’ll be taking a position with Newark Charter Schools coaching their principals on different strategies to improve their schools.
This is an exciting time for me, and change is a good thing. Just wanted to let everyone know…
Thanks all for listening…and for continuing to make the Forum the place to be!

congrats. my brother gets his masters in education next month and is already slated to be an assistant dean. he stopped liking students and has wanted to make the jump to administration since he taught his first class. his experience is with high school students and he basically hates teaching classes where 95% of the students don't want to be there. he tells them he's not going to stress the fact they don't want to learn or do the work. he says to them he'll take lettuce, onions and mayo only on his burger!
