I disagree, but it's looking like I'm in the minority who likes this piece. haha
I think they nailed the pose for Sidious here. His posture should be the complete opposite of Superman. He shouldn't have a heroic pose. He should make you feel uncomfortable. His posture should be unnerving and unnatural, kind of the way Nosferatu gives you the heebie geebies when you look at him.
A physically feeble man "shouldn't" levitate with his chest puffed out. His kyphotic spine is going to limit his shoulder range. His legs would be more adducted as he wouldn't have the physical strength to maintain them in any other way.
Physically, he reminds me of a creepy witch, which I think is what the statue conveys.
