Yes and no. I am not quite sure why PCS decided to shy away from fighter style legs?
Sakura has fighter legs and so should Chun-Li ..these girls are fighters!

PCS - Stree Fighter Sakura Gym 1/4

Street Fighter V - Chun-Li

PCS - Chun-Li Alpha 1/3

I think this Chun-Li from PCS will remain king of Street Figher statues for a long long time.
(i can't wait to see how the Prime1 Chun-Li shapes up)

If i buy any of the PCS swimwear line, it might be Chun-Li.
At this precise moment in time, i prefer the Sakura piece.

Curves look great. The Chun-li 1/3s just get wonky at several angles.

She's looking beautiful in that shot! I do wish there was more muscle in her legs though.

No we do not need more muscles in her legs. Don’t change anything PCS.

I wonder why PCS don't use the 3D game data, like they did for the 1/6 piece?
From what i can gather, PCS appear to using various 3D sculptors to put their skills to use and start over from scratch.

I prefer the artists take on a character than having one to one the same model as in the Game, since there would be no point for me to buy more than just 1 Statue of a character.

I like the more "feminine" approach on chun this Time. Still the 1:3 scale is easily the best chun out there.

Yes, Chun's thighs have become larger, and reached iconic status in III, IV, V. But like the hands and feet of Street Fighter characters, they can appear too exaggerated when translated to a real-world 3D sculpt. I can appreciate both approaches. I think they still look large enough on this statue though.

Jerry chose an even more freakish real-life model to base his 1:3 Chun sculpt on. That was Jerry's 'vision'.

Just conjecture, but supposedly Jerry had a closer relationship to Capcom than some others. Perhaps the new owners don't share the same level of collaboration.

Also, with Prime 1 now on the scene (a Japanese company), they may be the only ones with access to game files.

Or maybe Capcom changed their policy and don't share them any more at all?

Or... it could just simply be ant's art directing preference.

Once again this swimsuit line comes through. Wonderful portrait and wonderful anatomy. Chun Li looks like herself in the facial features and it looks like she'll stay beautiful from all angles.

The legs look good. Most female body builders only have more cuts to show muscles at their peak when they're competing. But on off seasons they have more fitness model tones. This swimsuit line just shows her on off season to me.
