Definition of Comiquette?
My apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere (I looked all over but couldn't find anything). But what exactly is the definition of "comiquette"?

Yeah, fully sculpted statue/maquette based off of comics. Hence the combination of comic and maquette into comiquette.

Comiquette [Noun] Pronunciation <comic-ket>
A statue most often of a comic book character sculpted in Maquette form. A form of statue used for "double-dipping" by Sideshow Collectibles. Example: Sideshow suit 1 "We just did that character as a Premium Format, how can we make more money on it?" Sideshow suit 2 "Let's make it into a Comiquette."

A way to make a statue sound more valuable thereby justifying a higher price.

It's just a maquette, but Sideshow's own brand of maquettes from comics. Hence comiquette. Just a name.
Though I love Xeno79's definition much much better! CLASSIC!

The word Maquette is a French word refers to scale model or statue. Add the word comic & maquette together & u get comiquette.
So when SSC makes a comiquette statue it is saying that the statue is based off a comic book reference.
