In all seriousness, explain this to me

How is it we get so many people asking if a certain collectible is sold out before its even gone up for pre-order ?

We note the pre-order date everywhere. Its on the website. Its on the Facebook posts. Its on the youtube page. Its on the Instagram posts. Its in the newsletter.

Yet people are still asking. Its so frustrating.

I guess it's easier to just ask than look around.

Honestly though, if on the product page they can't order that could be a bit confusing.

People are lazy and don't bother reading stuff. That's what it comes down to, Jerry. It is frustrating but it's a trait that will always linger on the internet. It's the same way people can't be bothered to google stuff so they'll just ask..

It's how we got into the housing crisis. People never read everything but then when things go wrong it's someone else's fault.

A majority of new customers are not familiar with
the "working in process" website or Pre-Ordering methods.
They are not checking for news and info,
just where to order their newly discovered collectible.
So when they hit the website, and see no order button
or get paypal's "sold out" message while waiting for the PO to go live,
They'll instinctively assume and question whether or not it is sold out.

And with the strong passion that brought them there,
if they fear it is sold out and they've missed their opportunity,
They'll think... contacting you guys directly, as soon as possible,
might place them ahead in line for any extras.

Using the 1/3 Kitana as an example, it's listed as "out of stock", which seems to be the default designation on your site when something can't be ordered. Maybe if you change that to "pre-order on XYZ date" instead, you'll get fewer inquiries.

I think I know exactly what you're talking about, even more recent on the Kitana post. I'm not sure either.

Maybe try putting the pre-order date in bold?

Jerry,

It may be that the item is listed on the site but not yet up for PO. I've seen multiple items listed on the PCS before the PO date with no PO button. At first I though ----...is it sold out then I realized the PO didn't happen yet.

Maybe that's it.

I have fallen for this also, when you go to the website and it says sold out hours before the PO time.
