Exactly. I don't think all of XM's releases look like home-runs. But the most conceptually successful ones, like Electro and Magneto, are not so much stand-alone grails as they are pieces of a line which is too expensive and space-consuming for me personally to invest in.
I really do envy the collectors who have been waiting for a definitive quarter scale version of a B-list Marvel character and are satisfied with that one piece. I started with a few DC PFs in hopes of building from there, but I'm beginning to redirect my collection away from franchise characters and more toward miscellaneous "grails" like the Blitzway Marilyn Monroe due to the glut of anticipated comic-related statues.
As amazing as the upcoming Prime 1 pieces look, the announcement of a $800+ Azrael signaled the bubble beginning to burst for this niche.
