I guess we revisited Psylocke? I think we weren't fully happy with the original Psylocke, so I would say that was justified. And we've obviously done a couple of Wolverines in that format. But would you rather get a new Black Cat, a new Emma Frost, or the first-ever Binary or Warbird or Black Queen? Just picking an iconic, attractive female statue I don't think we've ever done. (We may have, I've only been around for 13 years.)

It's OK, Zach, i just found it funny when you said "years ago", because when it's actually twenty years ago it becomes "too many years ago".





...And there's probably a big reason why the Moore statue is still easy to find after all this time.

"Too many years ago" only applies if the product is no longer available, or if the product does not live up to current standards. IMHO, our Black Cat is and does.

BUT if you don't like the Moore Black Cat, write in to Ask DST and ask for a new one. I'm sure DSTChuck will give your suggestion a response. He loves Spider-Man.

I respectfully disagree, Zach, and, again, the fact it seems to be so widely available sort of proves my point from a buyer's point of view. Heck, even from a seller's point of view, too, since, unless I'm mistaken, it's not you guys who are seeing the money from those sales anymore.

We'd have to know there was demand to start work on another Black Cat, and based on the fact that you can still get our OLD Black Cat, I can't imagine it's a priority. We have no guarantee people would like our new Black Cat more. Maybe if they greenlit a movie, demand might increase for the character overall?

So there?s more demand for weapon H than for Apocalypse?

I'm not sure how that is comparable to the situation we're discussing, but Apocalypse goes up for pre-order next month, so I guess we'll find out soon enough!

I don't know why we offered Weapon H first, but we first showed Apocalypse a year or more ago, so clearly he was a priority. As far as I know, we've never made him as a resin statue.

People can still get your old Black Cat because it's not a sought-after statue, Zach. And it's not because of the character, who's obviously a fan favorite.

To be fair, We made 5000 of the regular edition and 3000 of the retro. That's a LOT of statues, we only make 3000 Premier Collections MAX nowadays -- Milestones we only make 1000! So people wanting to sell a few of them is simply a matter of odds.

There are 20 different Black Cat statues on the market nowadays. I'd rather we focus on characters we haven't made, and maybe that others haven't done to death. But it's Chuck's line, I just have to sell it.
