Wow Tony you have seen them a lot. I've seen them 3 times myself.

Violator
Songs of Faith and Devotion
Singles

DM is still my all-time favorite band. Their music is just as relevant today as it was 20 years ago. Its hard to stay that good consistently. I can count on one hand the bands that I feel have been able to achieve that. Really been enjoying Sounds of the Universe.

Totally agree, their music has aged really well. Which is more than I can say for the majority of their contemporaries. And really, there are only a small handful of them still together, and actually putting out music regularly. The Cure comes to mind, Echo and The Bunnymen have been putting out some decent stuff lately, and of course there's U2. I know there are a couple of others.

Nice.

It might not be what you expect out of the gate but give it a chance to grow on you and I think you'll appreciate it. As I mentioned before its more atmospheric and darker than their previous material and IMO best listened to from beginning to end. Personally the more I listen to it the more I like it. Curious to hear what you think so post your thoughts after you've had some time to take it in.

Quick update: I have heard only the first 2 tunes, and so far, I love the hell out of it. My woman needs some love and attention, so I will have to finish it up tomorrow. I'll give it several spins, I am sure.
