Buying 7 and maybe a 3 sometimes.

As long as nothing is broken and the box is functional/in tact-it's all good. I don't like (can't) to spend a lot.

Maybe a 3 as well- if the defects are like a chip on the back or ankle... nothing that takes away from display view. Nothing that requires glue.. ect

Selling- 1, 2, 3.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I'm a 7, with shades of 1, 5 and 8 in there every now and again.

--

I've only sold a couple pieces, but I lean more towards 2 and 3. I don't think of myself as above going with 1, but truthfully, I'd rather box and store a piece before actively losing money on it.

The one exception was when I wanted to unload a popular F4F piece awhile back. I sat on it for a bit, knowing full well that it was just accruing value the longer I held off. Still made a nice profit at a reasonable price, but I definitely could have waited longer and milked that thing for every last drop if I wanted to.

This is like confession for collectors.

Buying
1,3,7 depends on age and what I am willing to pay

selling
1,2,3

Depends on what its selling for if I dont want it anymore and its value has tanked I take what I can get,

If something has sky rocked in price I will sell if for the profit if it does not fit in with my collection or I have other stuff I like better

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Honestly, I absolutey refuse to buy from sellers that use the super high shipping sales methods. For example if someone was selling a statue for $500 with free shipping and another guy was selling the statue for $350 + $125 shipping, I would actually pay the extra $25 and buy from the seller with free shipping or charging actual shipping charges.

Basically, I just won't buy from sellers that try and make money on shipping. eBay actually started charging final seller fee's on the shipping charges themselves due to sellers using this method of selling. Sellers were basically trying to circumvent eBay's final seller fee's by charged less for the item and more for the shipping. I absolutely despise that sales model, mosty because itsa bit decieving and its made buying overseas more expensive. In fact, some sellers have stopped shipping internationally due to this very reason. So again, I just don't buy from those kinds of sellers. I would honestly rather pay a bit more and buy from a seller with actual shipping charges.
