ARK - The Animated Series 5/10
Cool idea, story is interesting enough (gives me Lost vibes). The social commentary is a LOT, even for me. Like they worked off a checklist.

They may have followed an actual checklist. Have you seen the DEI checklist movies have to follow to be considered Oscar worthy now?

There are ways to do that without it looking so blatant. Oppenheimer, for example, fulfilled all of the Academy's new diversity and inclusion standards.

Tokyo Vice (Max) - S1 and S2 - 9/10. Compelling drama amongst the Japanese Yakuza, press and law enforcement. Doubly interesting watching this while also watching Shogun. The Yakuza alignment has many similarities to the feudal imperial system depicted in Shogun.
Halo (Paramount Plus) - S2 - 8/10. Nice to see others like this show. I was never a big Halo gamer (more Gears of War), so Master Chief without the helmet does not bother me.
