The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Romita Spiderman in the Rain Canvas

Just a heads up that a new edition of John Romitas Spiderman in the Rain on Canvas has been released and is in galleries now..

Some details

Certificate of Authentication
Numbered and Signed by Artist
Limited Edition of 50 Canvases
Giclee on Canvas
Stretched and Ready for Framing
Image Size 30 Inches Tall by 20 Inches Wide.

There are also 15 AP's, 15 EE's, and 15 PP's.

I had this years ago and have deeply regretted selling it I forget how many were in the original batch but it was not many. They have been impossible to find.

Re-releasing these prints kind of defeats the purpose of saying they are limited. As this happens so often, it's no surprise that prints are generally viewed as such a colossal rip off, no matter how nice they are.

So what’s the differences between 1st edition canvas to the reissued one?

I think, like statues, the more that are out there, the lower the value.

Quality: probably the same
Mental: one came out first

Again, like a statue, a lower number has higher value when the number doesn't have anything to do with the order it was made. It's mental.

It's fairly common for the re-release to be a different size from the original too, which is generally the main difference (along with a different frame if one is used).

Lol. So can we get comparison in numbers or specs on both , ES on both , diff versions of each. Reason why I ask I’m being offered one I believe it’s reissue of the original so I’d like to see what each looks like .
