i see, i have my statues in book cases, each statue has its own square space, maybe thats why i dont care so much.

As long as the statue looks good and everything is in proportion.
Yeah, it's all preference really. So for me, I'd like to maybe sell the P1 Arkham pieces perhaps and only collect SS 1/4 Batman(or if anyone else ever makes them). I like some company's characters better(P1's Killer Croc, SS's Scarecrow, while some are both great like SS's Bane and P1's new Bane, Harley etc.). So I guess it's more limiting in a way as I'd probably skip SS's Croc as I'm not a fan, and their lack of other great characters but to me it'd be better than mixing 1/3 Croc with 1/4 Scarecrow etc.

Honestly I'm just glad that all the great X-men statues coming out are 1/4!

It's true that XM's is a bit oversized but man I think SS is making their x-men statues 1/5 and just saying they're 1/4
I thought this was photoshopped when i first saw it, i'm surprised xm would even put this out knowing it was so outta scale.

Agree, also for me the softer blue on SS looks better.

XM should really advertise this as 1/3.5 scale.

I wonder how it looks next to an actual 1:3 statue?

The shade of blue XM went with looks so much better than the light-blue Sideshow went with.

Maybe the Sideshow piece is on the small end of 1/4 where as XM piece is on the large end of 1/4. Place the two together, and you get what you see in the image take from Xtreme video. X-23 is a prime example of Sideshow 1/4 small. I am aware of the argument X-23 being young, hence her small size. X-23's portrait is really small, 1/5 or 1/4.5 small. Nice piece all the same

I was one of the first people to get her, I pre-ordered her awhile back if XM was honest about the scale at the time I wouldn't of ordered it. Look the fact is XM had to know it was out of scale and decided not to say anything because they knew it would hurt sales. Now that people are starting to receive them and several people have commented on the scale being to big XM is remaining silent about the issue. It's just like XM's other issues, they won't say anything unless there is a major uproar about it and then just give you a bunch of lame excuses as to why it happened.

If your displaying Mystique on her own shelf then it's not a big issue, but if you display her with other X-Men 1/4 statues she sticks out like a soar thumb.

I like XM's products but their customer service and reputation for being honest about stuff is starting to hit the crapper.
