I only own 2 statues so far. I love the Black Widow statue, so I guess the next time one shows up for sale, it'll be mine! ;D
Searching Gentle Giant on ebay, 90% seems to be Star Wars. Guess Star Wars is the cause of the delay behind all the stuff people really want.

Unlikely. While SW is without question GG's largest catalog of product and longest, most well known license, the amount of SW product released over the past few years has been scant outside of their Jumbo Figure line.

A lot of us wish they would focus back on their busts and statues and make fewer $100 jumbos. Obviously their profit Margin is higher with the Jumbos than with the statues.

This is my 3rd 1/4 statue. I couldn’t resist, as the Black Widow looks so good. Until my 2nd display cabinet arrives, it will remain in the box. I will post photo’s soon enough. Black Widow represents my 1st Gentle Giant piece. I hope someday to obtain Derby to share the same cabinet.

At last my new cabinet arrived, some days ago. This allowed me to open by Black Widow box and checkout the statue. She looks great. Contrary to some comments I have read, the paint job on the face looks better than expected. Here are some photo’s. I’m no photographer, choosing to snap away and select the better shots. The first shot here turned out rather well. Admittedly, shots where the flash was used maybe doesn’t help so much, producing shadows, shinny hair, over bleached looking skin tone.
Unlike my two other ¼ statues, Ritual and Hot-Box, the only assembly required was attaching the base, and inserting a pistol in each holster.

Congrats. I never get tired of seeing new photos of her. Definitely one of the top pieces in my collection. Don't worry about the flash either. She seems to be one of those pieces that still holds up well under those conditions. I think the production face looks better than some of the early promo shots they were showing off. Hope the pistols weren't a problem for you. I've heard some horror stories of the holsters breaking when people tried to insert them.
Enjoy.

The pistols clipped straight in, without issue. Once in I don't see a need to remove them again. A bigger issue was screwing the base to the boot all the while placing the 2x clear support cubes in place. A tight squeeze.
