Source for a basic black oval base?

Anyone know a source for a basic oval black base?
Resin or other material that can be drilled and hold a bit of a load? About 8" wide or so?
I can paint it if needed, but would prefer something with nice finish to start with.

The first link has pre-finished black bases. The others you'll need to buy and paint black...

Try E2046.com. They sell displaybases for kits and stuff. Here is a wooden oval one in stock and wont cost you much...
