I'd say they are for both sexes. In the Bishoujo collectors group the admins are women and members are roughly 50/50. Compared to some statue channels I follow which have 8 all men looking at Prime 1 for example.

Lots of folks spending 1/4 scale money won't give these the time of day.
Whatever the exact percentages the line didn't start with the girls in mind and wouldn't be successful enough without the boys.
