These are just renders but can't say I liking the reduction in detail.
Not liking the reduction in his muscle size or definition.
Not liking how a lot of texture details have been taken out of his chest harness and shoudler pauldron.

Maybe things were dumbed down for factory production but definite downgrade for me.

I like the sword angle on the render a bit better than this reveal because the sword here is adding unnecessary height to an already tall bust. The previous tease had his height roughly the same size as Skeletor's Bust with the sword angled in that position so it would've been perfect. It's a minor complaint on my part but I'm getting it regardless since I'm all in with the current MoTU Line from Tweeterhead.

this updated portrait reminds me of 200X heman which is my favorite series (sorry filmation guys) so im good with it. im out on the bust - no room - but in on the legends maquette

Me & you obviously have similar taste in MOTU, because that's exactly how I feel, still have my 200x he man figures ( including the NECA mini statues)

200X He-man is awesome. A lifesize bust of that He-Man would be rad.

I get Tweeterhead reall really wants to "do their own thing" but to sell it has to be a desirable thing. If it doesn't sell they're gonna blame fan interest/character demand instead of their own design.

Yeah people wanted a younger He-Man but something got lost on the way from before to now.

Here's hope it'll turn out to have the more determined/gritty look from the render on page 1 rather than the softer look of the render on page 2.

If so, I'd give both He-Man and Skeletor closer consideration.

How dare you.

I mean, 200x is the better series but that 80?s show man. It feels like D&D on tv. And that soundtrack! Hits deep. I love the 200x show too though, especially how they gave depth to the villains. Stinker, Evil Seed, King Hiss and Count Marzo all got upgrades storywise. My only complaint with 200x is the soundtrack is very 2000?s numetal which sucks. And the power sword is trash. Just garbage.
