How to wirelessly connect XBox 360 to Internet
Anyone able to easily guide me through this (I can't find the manual).
Do I need any additional parts or can it be hooked to the net right out of the box?
Thanks in advance.

you need a wireless network adapter my friend! I got one for mine...at 100 bucks it's ridiculously priced though...and it works great! It hooks up via the USB port in the back of the xbox

$100 bucks?!?!? That's nuts.
Is the same true for the Wii? PS3?

Not for the Wii. If you don't already have a wireless router or modem you can easily get a WiFi Connector from Nintendo or a third party company that will set you back 30 bucks and you can connect them via USB and you're set!

This is interesting bc everyone keeps yelping about how expensive the PS3 is compared to the 360.
Assuming you paid MSRP, for $600 you get the PS3 with DVD player and WiFi. To get the same from the XBox you would need to pay $700. To be fair, you need an HDMI cable for the PS3 so that adds $60 (you may need this for the 360 as well). So the XBox is coming in at more then the PS3, granted you can get discounts right now.

UD, there is no HDMI connection on the Xbox360. Also you can get high quality HDMI cables for a lot less than $60. Best Buy or any of these other stores is the last place you want to buy any cables from. They will go out of their way to convince you to spend a lot of money on cables. I was turned on to a great site that sells all types of cables, switches and splitters and at great prices: www.monoprice.com

I know - I was just using the company's own products for comparison purposes. The XBox HDMI cable I was thinking of was actually the Compnent or VGA HD cable. They run $40.
I was disappointed that the PS3 did not come with any wire for HD. That was pretty lame and reminds me of when printers were sold without the necessary wires.
