Baltimore Comic Con Haul

I wasn't really able to score a lot of sketches at this con, but the few that I got were definitely worth it.

Here's a Wolvie head sketch by John Romita Jr. at the Hero Initiative Booth:

Here's a Cap vs. Snake Eyes by Dave Finch:

Last but not least, a Gambit and Rogue piece by Mike Choi:

Finch's line on Saturday was insane! The man is a trooper though. I was very surprised to see that his prices actually were down from last year's NYCC. He was charging $60 a head, $120 a bust, $240 a torso, and $500 a full figure. I don't know if they'll stay the same for NY since most artists jack up their prices there, but he was a hell of a bargain at Baltimore. The Cap vs Snake Eyes piece was actually a two torso piece so it was $480. It's a great value since it's pretty much a two full figure piece, right? One interesting thing he told me while we were watching the con people give other artists food and drink, Dave actually doesn't really take food or drink breaks. He said that he feels uncomfortable making people wait while he eats and doesn't want to drink anything because then he would have to go to the bathroom and make people wait for him. That's going above and beyond for his fans. It also makes me suspect that he's a robot. Clearly he's a sketching machine.
