If it's done beautifully nothing beats a repaint..such as clay's brother, danno and rick..the death dealer does need a repaint..=)

The hands on DD III look like they are bronze...aged bronze...I was thinking about starting with the blood on the axe...It looks dried...Why would he be hanging around long enough for the blood to dry...?...

As the saying goes..."The curtains match the carpet"....I have known one woman in my life that was born with white hair and subsequently had a white bush...But only one...I painted her like "Storm"...and could think of no better way...To pay homage to...****...!

As I said I am unfamiliar with the piece but I was wondering if anyone has any pics of it as it was or even the name and artist so I could search myself. I can't believe it would be any better than what you did with it though.

Even if you decide to sell it its your statue now and all you have to do when you sell it is say that it was repainted... usually repainted statues sell for more because it is a better quatlity than what they did overseas... but thats just my opinion...

I like to think of any piece you buy to display as art....and art is subjective. But in the end, it should be pleasing to the eye...and if it doesn't give you joy when you look at it....repaint it to make yourself happy.
