I sense the humor behind it, but I honestly don't know what "cheesecake" means
I've heard the term thrown around by Seth Rinaldi and Sideshow reps, as something to avoid?
There's a Sideshow behind the scenes video that plays at my LCS and they mention that for the Psylocke PF they wanted to stay clear of a cheesecake pose
??

If that is where the price came in, you could save a few bucks on characters you would have bought individually at 1/4 scale. I think that estimate is low though. 1/5 conan was what, $450-500 a few years back, and wasn't Indy Pursuit also $500? no way those pieces would be anywhere near that at today's prices.
ETA: That Indy box is still the largest box I own for anything. When guests come over, we put them in there, and sometimes use it to house the RV. Point being 1/5 scale with more than one figure is plenty big.

I agree it's going to be north of 8 bills which is probably enough to hold me off. It's just not in my wheelhouse collectable wise.
