Well technically yes, but you have to send them pics of the heads smashed up, otherwise they charge you for them.

HA! No joke. With this many heads going back out, people could easily get together and bust one set up, take pics, bust up the heads up a little more and use a different background/camera. Rinse and repeat. Unethical yeah, but crossed my mind.

Sideshow would probably want more that $30 for the replacement heads
Personally, if I worked at Sideshow and you asked to keep the original portraits, I would ask why you wanted replacements. It wouldn't make much sense. If the originals are good enough to keep now, why weren't they before? That would also lead me to believe that you might be planning on flipping the portraits, mainly the exclusive version. I have a feeling that if they did charge someone for the replacement portraits, it would be over $30.
I am pretty sure Sideshow wouldn't allow people to buy the replacement portraits. They probably require you to smash up the originals thoroughly. It is a good way of ensuring that the limited exclusives stay limited.
